Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, May 05, 2012

I would not call this on fire but I would say It was super fun.  Head high plus on the bigger sets, sweet offshore winds and killer warm water.  What a combo, uh!  Check it out!!!

The waves were also super fun down the beach, as you can see on this shot.  The view should be better from the boat, I guess so!

Our little friend Mel Melon Comelon made it out this morning and he was having a blast.  Here he is going big with a sweet no hander barrel on his backside.  That’s no easy to do!

The view from the dining room at the NSR Beach House.  If you are coming down to Nicaragua this is the place where you want to be.  For sure!

Dave is caught on this one, pulling into a killer section by the river mouth.  I have to say that we had waves to be taken all over the place.

Caveman Carl got a little late to the fest, so he was not able to find his cave today.  Instead of getting barreled he opted to work on his aerial skills and he did pretty well.  Air reverse on his frontside, that’s kinda cool!

Andrew made it down with a couple friends and his lovely girlfriend.  As many surfers do, he left her on the beach meanwhile he was getting some surf out of his brains.  Welcome down Erin!!!

The local boys know this spot better than anybody.  Lester hand draggin’ both hands into this jewel.  You gotta love the view on this one!

Barrel sequence of the day belongs to Shannon.  Check it out!

Setting up and pulling in!

Totally disappeared!

Still in there and looking for the door!

Woooooo, that was sick bro!

There were also some nice sections to shred up.  Unknown rider with a cool turn on his frontside!

A few big boys made it out on their big pangas and they were charging.  65 years old man with a tight shot!

On the last action shot of the day we have Carlos chilling like a Billy, like Bob dealing on penicillin.  More waves for tomorrow, so please stay tuned with us!
