Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, May 05, 2010

Hey everybody this is Lucha Libre and Chewy representing NSR! We are bringing you the Wednesday surf report.  It is bigger than yesterday running well overhead and some bombing sets. Check this photo out, where was I?

Somebody should tell this guy we are not cliff diving. Here is Skeeter (I hope that is your name) going big on this one.

There were many sick waves coming in today but we really have to be patient to score some of the better ones.  This is Simon from Portugal styling on his backside barrel riding.  This is really a BACKSIDE BARREL!!!

It was nice to see everybody scoring good waves today.  This unknown rider was ripping all over the place.  Check him out with a sick frontside snap on this right.

We had some sick drops to take photos of.  Check out this little sequence of Joel making this one.  Shot 1, late but still going for it!!!

Shot 3, he landed it but it was a pity he couldn’t make it around.  Anyway, it was a great sequence!

Jantana really surprised us this morning.  He got back to the action and was charging more than ever.  Nobody would though that this guy is a little bit more than 50 years old, charging on waves like this one.

Let’s take it to the barrel sequence of the day.  This is Dave from Jacksomeville getting one of the sicker barrels of the day.  Shot 1, dropping in late!

Shot 2, oh is he going to fall?

Shot 3, he barely made the drop and here comes the reward!

Shot 4, looking down the line!

Shot 5, bottom turning it!

Shot 6, looking for some shade!

Shot 7, still waiting!

Shot 8, setting up for the green room!

Shot 9, check out the lip of that thing!

Shot 10, getting deeper!

Shot 11, oh my god!

Shot 12, are you f,,,,,g kidding me?

Shot 13, is he going to come out of this one?

Shot 14, still in there!

Shot 15, looking for the door!

Shot 16, about to make it out!

Shot 17, do you guys thing that he is stoked?

Shot 18, hell yeah he is stoked.  You always have to claim a sick wave like this one, uh!

We had some sick mini bumps coming in and this guy dropped a few of them.  Hey dude, we have a sick sequence of this wave so make sure to shout us an email if you want to get it.

We always get to see a few of broken boards when the waves are this heavy.  Sorry man, we hope you have a big quiver back at home!

We met a lot of good surfers from Fl lately.  This is Juan Eugenio looking good with this cool nice backside maneuver on this left.

Our very own Pancho Sanchez was able to paddle out today and he picked up a couple of good ones as well.  Here he is driving this right hander as much as possible.

Brodie was killing today, as always.  He is such a good surfer and here is this shot as a proof.  We actually got a 16 shots sequence of this sick backside barrel but we do not have too much space to use it.  Here is one of the many sick shots we snapped of him on this wave.

You gotta believe us when we say that there were some bumps coming in.  Check out the explosion of this wave on the rocks.  I am so happy to be on the beach and not in the water!

Mr. Brown was putting his own show as always, but today we were not able to post a whole sequence of him.  Here is this shot of him getting drained!

We didn’t get to know this guy, but he was ripping it up.  Check him out hand dragging into the wave to slow down and be able to get shacked!

There were some sick wipe out going on down the beach.  Here is Cabeza de Pollo going over the falls on this one.  Ouchhhhh!!!

We had some huge set waves rolling in at Panga Drops this morning.  When I took this shot, I was like 200 meters away from that spot and check out how big it was.

Our very good friend Lance “La Meduza” wasn’t lucky enough to catch a good wave today.  At least he got nice shake on this one.  There he is in the yellow circle getting into the blender!

Later on in the afternoon the pipe master Rob Machado showed out to the beach and we had so much fun just watching him surf.  Here he is with a bad ass turn.  This guy knows how to do it, uh!

Alright fellas, that’s all for today.  More waves on tab for tomorrow so make sure to check us back out.
