Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, April 14, 2016

What's up primos!? Welcome back to the NSR surf report with Parker. We surfed a beachie slightly north so check out the shots!

DLite was the first person on it. The early bird gets the tube...

DLite set the bar pretty high: a tube and a turn. Thankfully, we were just getting started!!

Peter Kerson's buddies are in town so we wanted to take them surfing and shoot some photos. Everyday is a surf adventure in Nicaragua (see yesterday's report).

There's still plenty of swell in the water so a few waves closed out on this beach. John, a seasoned veteran of navigating closeouts at home, still managed.

Bam!! When Neptune gives you a closeout, take it out on the incoming section!

Check out the line on this wave. Today was a regular footer's dream.

Most of the waves were sick a frame peaks. The Brom had plenty of opportunities to visit his Nicaraguan chiropractor.

Billy moved down from North Carolina to work for Surfari Charters. Welcome down Billy and we are stoked to meet you!!

Kevin is another Surfari stud and a close family friend of NSR. Being a talented personal trainer, we would have expected him to bash the corner harder!

Meanwhile, John was smiling his way around the corners. He was super stoked to catch right after right after right.

Florida Mike is also part of Peter's crew. This is one of the nicest hearted guys (and he rips on the guitar). Check out his right!

Mike rode this right so long that I thought he would jump off and be back at our home break. The Brom and I were hoping that would could true so Mike wouldn't snake shotgun for the fourth time...

Coming in hot!!! Florida was also filling his quota of rights.

Peaks peaks and a couple more peaks. Sets rolled in perfectly and the sandbar absorbed them well.

Mario is a local ripper and holds down this break. Check out his frieght train.

Slotted!!! He has this spot wired and joined today's barrel fest.

Yewww!! Getting the job done and punching through. Yeah Mario!

DLite responded and locked into another right gem. 10 years in NICA will perfect your backside barrel riding.

The section clamped but he held his rail and stuck it! Yeah DLite!!

Unfortunately, karma caught up to DLite on the next wave...

The Brom, this right nugget is for you!!

Kenny Smith paddled out on his new 7S and found some sick waves. We are still working on his Chief name for the EMHEC so any email submissions would be greatly appreciated.

John, still snagging some of the best waves. It's been great hanging with you guys this past week!!

Mario was still killing it too. In the tube, on the face, or above the lip, he was nailing tricks.

Ok damas and caballeros, we had a great start to our day. Thank you all for checking out the report and stay tuned for the new weekend swell coming! Adios amigos!!
