Nicaragua Surf Report for Tuesday, March 29, 2022

Brian Scott

Hola y Bienvenido to the Tuesday Surf Report! Waves have dropped considerably in size, but if you know where to look and patiently where to wait, you could get what you wanted or needed for todays surfing fix!

Brian Scott

A couple adventurous amigos went (not too far) in search of something, anything that looked like it was breaking and surfable.

This place is or can actually produce a pretty rad little wedging bowling barreling and super rippable wave, But you gotta watch that double up and super gnarly backwash off the rocks!

Like hereā€¦.! ! !

Looking back over at our main spot and usually more popular. Ricky dropping in, in front of his hermano Derek. It was like a little mini Gold Coast Aussie colored auqua, dipped in about the water temperature of trestles out there today.

Bear-Dog eating up some of the nuggety looking lefts!

If you zoom in and see… this DUDE’S really showing us his “OH” face…. but wait til that next swell fills in. I think we’re going to have some real GOLD in the “OH FACE” department!

Brian Scott

It was like an Oh Face feeding frenzy out there today! Jaja

I had literally rubbed my eyes and doubled checked the zoom on my lens when I wasn’t quite sure that I saw a dude running down the beach, about to paddle out in full on, well, ya know…. you can see it for yourself. His regular “ropas” (aka daily clothes) you’d see him walking down the street in. We’re talking full on jeans, t-shirt, and haha, yup even sneakers!

Brian Scott

I really wish I had a photo of him surfing an actual wave, but it was a pretty quick session for this fully dressed hombre. I think this is a first for me. Jaja - nice one dude!

Brian Scott

Getting back to the real stuff. D-man getting out there and waiting patently for the very few and far in-between gems.

Brian Scott

But the sequence is even more sick to see in its entirety! Sick wave Derek!!! Full in and out.

Some people cross paths down here, and often, but that’s the greatest thing about traveling abroad. Nicaragua is warm, beautiful and abundant with amazing people with cool unique stories to share over a nice cold Toña or beverage of your choice, while watching one of our world class sunsets.

Enjoy, and as we are about to enter into April already, let the season begin ~
