Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, March 25, 2009

What's up party people?  The swell is still solid today and there were plenty of sick waves to be had.  It's running overhead on sets with light offshore winds and the water is starting to warm up a little bit.  Here's a cool line-up shot.

Here we have Oliver "el Mono" Solis on a solid left.  Oliver was teaching a lesson today but still managed to catch a few on his longboard.

This is an unknown rider, who was taking a plenty of good waves inside.  Here we caught a shot of him riding through on this nice wave.

Here's another shot of an unknown local.  We used to know all the local kids, but now it's pretty much impossible.  This guy was getting some good rides though.

We also had our good buddy Alfredo “El Manito” Peru, on the beach giving some surf lessons and afterwards getting in some good surf with the uncrowned water. Here he is pulling a nice bottom turn on this nice looking left.

The NSR Surf School had a class today with some students from New York.  This is Isabella, working the whitewater on the inside and standing up during her very first surf lesson!

Check out, one of the many good waves come through today with nobody on it.  That's is a shame!!!

This is a shot of Peter who was also surfing for the first time and nabbing a nice a set wave and dropping in.

That's all for today but be sure to check back tomorrow for more surf action from Nicaragua.  The swell should be sticking around for a while and we are going looking for some BARRELZZZZZ!
