Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, March 09, 2009

What’s up folks, we are Lucha Libre and Come Pan Panic bringing you the Monday surf report.  This afternoon we went to the beach to check out what was going on up there.  We found some small waves but the winds are dying little by little.  The water is still cold but it doesn’t matter if we have waves out there and that’s exactly what we are expecting for this week.  The lineup was quite busy but it was pretty mellow.  Check out what we got!!!

It’s weird to see many surfers out there giving it a try with the cold water.  This is Guillermo “La Terepota” Rosales with a cool floater on this little one.  The locals have been charging in the cold water.

Augusto “La Gaviota” Chamorro was able to paddle out today as well and he was doing the best to do some maneuver on the small and freeze waves to keep warm.  Check him out with a cool roundhouse move on this left.

We want to introduce Juan Carlos “La Gargolita” Junior.  His father left the surf action for a while because he wants to be a responsible dad.  Here he is feeding his little babe, so proud of him.  Good job buddy!!!

A few guys were out doing some stuff on the big pangas.  This is a cool shot of “El Flaco” going backwards on this small but fun looking wave.  Watch out folk!!!

“El Mope” Miranda got back to the action today and was ripping all over the place.  Here he is tearing up this right.  He’s so exited because we are supposing to have a solid swell this week and he wants to shred on some sizable waves.

On the last shot of the day we have Rodolfo “Calibilly” Zapata finishing the day with a sweet maneuver.  We are expecting to have a push in the swell tomorrow so be sure to check out with us.
