Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, February 23, 2009

Hi there, we are Lucha Libre and Come Pan bringing you all the surf action from out here at one of our favorite spots down south.  Today we sent Come Panic on a boat trip to take some shots of a couple friends.  The swell dropped down a bit but there were a few fun sets rolling through.  It was running about chest to head high on sets with offshore winds and the water was still pretty chilly.  Check it out!!!

The lineup was not crowded at all, there were only about seven guys out trying to get some surf.  Here we have a shot of this unknown rider taking a nice looking left.  This guy left a few years in his house and today was surfing like a twenty five years old man.  Good job buddy!!!

Not many guys were out and the waves were not too big so it was a good day to take the big pangas out.  This guy was taking advantage of the real good conditions we had and he rode many fun ones on his nine feet super panga.

Come Panic was trying to make the surf looks better than it was.  He’s getting really artistic with his shots, he’s learned a lot since he has been shooting with Lucha Libre.  Here is caught another unknown pale rider taking off on this sweet left hander.

D. Wilson has been surfing at this spot for a while so he knows exactly how this wave works.  Here we got a shot of him taking one of the better set waves that came through this afternoon.

It was a great day to learn how to surf and a couple of beginners were out doing the best to score some killer waves.  Check out this guy trying to stand up on this small but nice looking wave.  Keep working buddy, never give up.  By the way, if you want to learn how to surf, you should get a lesson with the NSR Surf School and the best teacher in town “D-lite”.  We guarantee that you are going to ride many waves and you will have fun for sure.

Alright folks, the swell is supposed to drop a little bit for tomorrow so it might be a great day to take the longboards out.  Right now we are ready to take a ride around town so be sure to check back with us tomorrow.
