Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, February 21, 2008

Hi everyone, welcome to another small surf report from out here at Maderas again. It's running about knee to waist high on sets, the wind is offshore and the water is still cold but don't worry because it looks like we are going to have a new swell pretty soon. Meanwhile we'll keep riding the small ones, check it out.

First at all today we want you to know that we had a eclipse last night around 8:00 pm. Here is a sweet shot of the action.

This is Pancho "El Shaper" Chamorro trying to cut back on a small wave. This guy was trying to give us some action out there but he couldn't get a better wave.

"El Mope" Miranda keeps paddling out even with the small waves. Today he was the lucky man, he was taking the best waves of the day. Here he is smaking a nice one.

There were a couple of nice waves coming through today. This is an unknown pale rider taking advantage at the lineup with a sweet ride.

Here is Larry "Carita de Venado" Davila improving his maneuvers. This guy is practicing hard for the upcoming national contest at Maderas on March. Keep working my friend!!!

We want to say thanks so much to our friends from San Diego CA for their donation to the National Surf Team who is going to participate in the next Central American Surf Contest in Panama. Please check back tomorrow.
