Nicaragua Surf Report for Friday, February 22, 2008

Welcome to NSR surf report from out here at Maderas. We still have some good and fun waves coming through. It's running about chest to shoulder high on sets, the wind is offshore and the water is still pretty cold. Check it out.

Most of the local surfers were out today having a good time out there. Here is young Rex "La Bestia" Calderon with a cool aerial maneuver. This little kid has been working really hard for the last couple weeks because he wants to be the National Champion once again.

Pancho "El Shaper" Chamorro paddled back out again and was catching a few good ones. Here he is with a cool bottom turn on a nice looking left.

How about "La Cenicienta" Blaylock going off the top on this one. She's one of the chicks who are going to represent the National Surf Team the next month in the Central American Surf Contest in Panama.

Here is Rodolfo "Calibilly Pedorro" Zapata taking one of the cleanest set waves of the day. Hey Cally, there will be a good party this weekend, so you have to be ready and charge it!!!

Here is "El Mope" Miranda with a powerfull maneuver. Hey Mope, don't get angry for the size waves, next week we are going to have a huge swell in the water (HOPEFULLY) and we want you to be out there.

There are always some good waves with no takers. Here a nice right peeling all the way in to the beach. Please chack back tomorrow.
