Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, February 16, 2011

Hi and welcome to our daily surf report.  We are the NSR Family bringing you some of the action we had at the beach this morning.  The waves were kind of fun, running about chest to shoulder high on sets with a little strong offshore winds and the water was fresh.  Check it out!!!

Today we went to the beach with some friends.  Here we have La “ Baloy” Chamorro was practicing all types of maneuver, because he is ready for the contest that we have this Friday at Playa Hermosa.  Look at him throwing some buckets on this little nugget.   Good luck Baloy!

This guy was catching a lot of waves today.  He look super stoked having some shade on this nice sized right hander.  Good job my dude!

As I said before the waves super fun, and the water was fresh.  Check out this guy taking a shower before the paddle out and getting some fun waves.

Our very good friend La “Baloy” Chamorro was killing every single wave.  Check him out looking good with a cool from side aerial.

When we arrived to the beach this morning nobody in the water, so we have many fun waves rolling in with no taker.  Check out this peeler coming in by itself.

The lineup was a little empty today, we only have about 3 guys in the water including a couple locals.  This is El “Tuzo” Morales looking good with a cool snap on this beautiful right hander, one of the beteer waves that he caught today.

We do recycling!

On the last surfing shot of the day we have one more time La “Baloy” he was ripping all over the place.  Look at him destroying the lip on this little wave.  Alright folks that’s all for today.  Please check back with us tomorrow!

The Pitaya Festival officially begins tomorrow with a SUP race in SJDS.  It's a 6 mile event and is sure to be a back breaker in the strong offshores.  Come on out and check it out.  Evidently the contest at Hermosa starts tomorrow too...should have good waves for that!
