Nicaragua Surf Report for Tuesday, February 03, 2009

What’s everyone, this is Roberto “Lucha Libre” and Jairo “Come Pan” bringing you all the action for the Tuesday surf report.  Today we drove up north to get some really good surf and enjoy one of the many swells we are hoping to get during this year.  We checked out one of the better beach break we have down here in Nicaragua but unfortunately it wasn’t working very well, so we decided to go a little bit upper to check other spots around.  It was overhead on sets with offshore winds, the water was warmer up here at north and we don’t have jellyfish around here.  Check it out!!!

Lucha Libre was getting boring early this afternoon so he decided to leave the camera for a while and took the violin to play some music.  Here he is showing us his artistic skills.

On the next surf spot we checked out we found some really sick waves to be taken.  The lineup was really uncrowded today, we only had about six or seven local surfers out taking advantage on every single wave that came through.  Here is a shot of one of the many good lefts we had with no takers.

As soon as we arrived to this spot Come Pan Panic saw some killer waves coming through so he took the water camera and paddled out.  He is getting really good with the water camera.  Who doesn’t wish to be into this barrel on this shot?

Meanwhile Jairo was in the water our very own Lucha Libre was taking tons of nice shots of the local surfers that were ripping up all the afternoon.  This is Junior “La Juliana” Martinez with an amazing fan on this left.

The Martinez family was doing the best to make it on NSR today.  This is Mario “El Danino” Martinez with a sweet of the top.  It looks like this guy has been surfing a lot lately because he’s doing it so much better.

Armando “El Codo” Lopez was so happy to make this trip with us because he was getting barrel all over the place.  He was getting barrel on every wave he took at the wedge.

Come Pan Panic is definitely ready to take pictures of any surfer, from professionals to beginners.  You can reserve your day’s photography with the best two surf photographers in Nicaragua.  Send us an email and we will let you know about our availability.  This is Jubert “La Guabinita” Martinez styling in this little shack.

Donald “El Guru” made it out today and rode a few good ones.  He is so stoked because he finally caught some size waves after along time riding some small ones.

Julio “El Panson” Mairena had a surgery the last month and today he was able to be part of the show.  Here he is getting into a nice barrel on this right with nice back light.  Isn’t it?

Augusto “La Gaviota” Chamorro is getting tired to be surfing everyday at Playa Maderas so we decided to take him to some of our best spots up north so he can practice on some other kinds of waves.  Check him out with this rat shot.

Sometimes we met many beautiful chicks on the beach taking photos around.  Today we snaked this cute chick taking photos of the handsome NSR photographers to have good memories of her trip.

Norwin “El Chulin” Estrella was the only junior surfer who wanted to surf some different waves so he made the trip with us to score some fun ones.  Here he is caught with an awesome floater.

There were some mini bumps this afternoon right before dark, that is a good sign because that’s probably means that we are going to have some killer waves tomorrow so be sure to check back with us.  This is “La Gaviota” bottom turning one of the bigger sets we had.

Lucha and Come Pan out!!!
