Nicaragua Surf Report for Friday, January 27, 2012

What’s up folks?  This is your man, Lucha Libre Garcia reporting from down south at Playa Maderas.  The waves picked up a little bit today, maybe a couple of inches but it was better than days before.  The winds were nice offshore, and the water was nice, plus the lineup was almost empty.  Check it out!!!

When I first got to the beach, there were only two beginners out and this lady having fun on her sponge.  She was having a blast riding some small ones on her belly.

A couple guys made it to the beach, checked the surf out and turned around.  Maybe they were not too excited with the surf, but we have to mention that it was kinda fun to take a big board out.

Los Hermanos Masecos paddled out there and they were ripping some small ones apart.  Here they are going out, just second away from fun.

This is Felipe El Pipe Chompipe practicing a little vertical on this closed out section.  He was really catching some decent ones on his shortboard.

There are always some advantages on being a small guy.  Masequito Junior setting up to throw a nice frotside turn on this peeler.

The light hit the rock pretty well today, and we did not want to miss the chance.  Please check back tomorrow!!!
