Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, January 12, 2009

Hi and welcome for the Monday surf report.  We are Lucha Libre and Come Pan Panic bringing you the action from out here at Playa Maderas.  The waves were small but super fun and perfect to take the big pangas out.  It was running about waist to chest high on sets and the wind was offshore.  Check out what we got for you today!!!

A few locals took a ride with us to the beach and paddled out to get some surf.  Here we have a cool shot of Rodolfo “Calibilly” Zapata going off the top on this left.

Edwin “El Tuzo” Morales was able to make it out to the beach as well and rode a few clean ones.  Here he is looking down the line and waiting for the right moment to do some maneuvers.

There were some ladies who decided to take the big boards out and give it a try.  It is so nice when the girls do the best to have fun at the beach, no matter what they do.

Here we caught this lady on this left getting some speed.  The ladies were charging out there.  We hope to see more chicks trying to surf out there soon.

Augusto “La Gaviota” Chamorro was flying all over the place, showing his brother “La Baloy” that he can do some aerial maneuvers as well.  Check him out going big with this nice double grab air.

Jorge “El Chispero” was really hungry on the beach so he decided to go by the rocks and catch some crabs.  Here he is enjoying an unusual appetizer.

On the last shot of the day we have this unknown rider taking this right in front of the rocks at Machete Pt.  The waves might be about the same size tomorrow so be sure to take the big pangas out and have a good time.
