Happy New Year everyone.  We’ve got Lucha Libre Garcia here with the first report of this 2011.  We went to the beach in the afternoon hoping to find some surf and we did.  There were some small but fun waves rolling in but not many people was surfing.  The beach was pretty busy, lots of people swimming, laying down on the beach and enjoying a sunny and beautiful day.  Check out the lineup!!!

It is always nice to begin a new year with love.  Everybody on the beach was very happy and having a good time.

Live music was played all day, a good thing to enjoy with a cold beer or a killer taco.  It was unbelievable to see so many people on the beach and very, very few were surfing.

Did we say everybody was happy?  Check out these two girls dancing and loving the music.  It is amazing to see how a great year has finished and we are starting a new one.

A couple locals were out, taking advantage in the lineup.  This is Marlito “El Masequita” going big with a cool off the top.  He was trying to do a couple aerial maneuvers but I think that board he was riding was too big for him.

Eleazer “El Coyote” Romero was also out, picking up some small but very fun waves.  Here he is caught on this right having a blast.

It looks like somebody found a sweet way to keep the wine cold.  Actually this little cave had a few pieces of ice underneath, and it seems to work fine.

There were a few guys bodyboarding all over the place.  Check out this one picking up a nice looking right.
