Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, August 06, 2023

@tonyzphotos Bringing you today Sunday funday surf report. We have some decent sized swell in the water. The longer swell interval is making it a bit stretched out at the moment, but there are some fun inbetween and occasional corners to ride.

A nice surprise for the early risers was to see some freshly hatched turtles making there way into the sea.

Josee was happy to be up early and pick off a few bombs.

Ceiba here representing the Dominican Republic Crew lining himself up on a pretty sweet right.

Anthony positioned himself pretty well into this one.

Vinny was able to race down the line and rip a nice cutback.

Up the beach and less crowded was the right. It was a bit smaller, but offered some nice workable walls.

If you were patient the you could find the occasional makable river right.

This guy is a pretty quick surfer, he had some nice cracks this morning.

Also representing the Dominican Republic was Jose Luis, he stuffed himself into multiple good sized tubes this morning.

John was on what I saw to be the bomb of the morning. He made some distance on this one. It looks like the surf should improve shape over the next few days as the swell period drops. Check back with us tomorrow for an update.
