Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, June 30, 2011

What's up folks?  This is Eric bringing you todays wave report from one of our favorite spots here in Nicaragua.  The waves are quite a bit smaller than yesterday, occasional head high on sets.  The winds are nice offshore though and the the water is beautiful!  Check out the lineup!

The first surfing shot of the day goes to our good buddy Mateo.  this kid is a barrel master at this spot.  Finding a little micro tube all to himself!

Even though the waves were small there were still some sweet little tube sections to find.  Here's an unknown rider about to pull in on his frontside.

Matt, being from California was loving surfing in only his shorts!  He picked off one of the bigger sets of the morning.  Long, clean righthander reeling down the sandbar!

Here's Matt again a little further down the line of the same wave...  Digging into a nice backside turn!

A couple local fisherman were out and scored a nice Robalo (snook)!  Somebody's having a tasty dinner tonight!

With a shallow sandbar due to the low tide, nice offshore winds, and a little bit of swell... It seemed that every wave had a little tube section today.

Here's a cool dude catchin' some some tube time on this mini grinder.   He was shredding out here today, check out the next shot...

He came out of that clean little barrel and hit the brakes hard!  Ripping a big frontside turn at the end of this wave!
