Nicaragua Surf Report for Tuesday, June 30, 2009

Hi folks, this is Roberto “Lucha Libre” Garcia bringing you all the action from one of our favorite spots up north.  Today I drove up to meet a couple guys from Florida that hired me for the day.  They were so stoked because they surf some good waves but unfortunately the day was overcast and it was raining a little bit in the morning making it tough for photos.  It was running about head high to over head on sets, the wind was offshore and the water nice and warm.  Check it out!!!

This is John with a cool off the top on this right.  He is so happy to be down here right now that he doesn’t want to leave because he says this is paradise.

Later on, the day cleaned up and the sun came out.  Here we have our new friend Stephen waiting for the barrel section on this killer right.

Everybody out there was ripping all over the place.  This is Rick taking the lip off the back with a sweet fan.

There were not many waves barreling today but there were still a few ones rolling all the way in to the beach.  Check out Chris from Popoyo getting deep into one of the best wave of the day.  Would you claim this thing?

The right was really doing its thing today, peeling and peeling all the way in.  Check out this unknown rider bottom turning this right and waiting for the perfect spot to hit the lip.

Here we have Erick from Cal with a killer layback shot.  Maybe you guys don’t believe me but he made this sweet move.  Hey Erick, we got all the sequence if you want to get it!!!

The girls got contagious and were ripping it up as well.  Check out India with a cool slash.

On the last shot of the day we want to show you how good the waves can be when it is clean.  The waves are supposed to be about the same for the next 2 or 3 days but we are expecting to have a push in the swell during the weekend so stay tuned with us.
