The first thing I want to say is that Nicaragua has some of the best waves in the world.  Every now and then, I get reminded of that and feel thankful that I live here.  Today we crossed the border to Costa Rica to pick up some new surfboards in Tamarindo.  We left early and pulled up at 10:30am.  That's when I snapped this photo...already onshore and mushy.  Meanwhile, check out the shots above to see what we had (and what I missed) in Nicaragua all-day-long.  More than 100,000 surfers per year travel to C.R. and this is what they surf most of the time.
