Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, November 07, 2022

Brian Scott

Back to work (well maybe for some) Monday. Another drizzly grey day here in Nicaragua. But there’s wave. It was a bit mixed up out there, but enough people out surfing to make somewhat of a report. It definitely felt like a Monday back in the old world I used to live in.

Winds were funky, the water texture (due to the whirling winds) was funny, the only thing that wasn’t funky, but just rad was Chris’s surfing!!

See here, if you had to see only one pic for the day, it could pass as totally glassy, but I can assure you, it wasn’t. Nice looking wave though!

Unknown ripper kid having fun and making the best out what we have, while we have these unfavorable conditions.

Dude, nice one! Laying into this wrap around with some serious rail spray!

There were maybe one or two moments, like this… hahahaha!

I went down and was standing in the water. The ocean is so warm and perfect right now. Just the right temperature and there’s never a bad thing that will ever beat surfing in trunks.

Another glassy looking one, but look how quickly it turned into . . .

THIS!!!! Going for the inside closeout barrel!!!

Another nice turn on yet another glassy looking wave. Maybe my eyes have deceived me, OR I need to up my reading glass persecution but it looks way better in these pics than it was down there, I swear!

Often times I talk about heading from the beach and back into the thick dark jungle. Jason (seen center very bottom) with his trusty doggy walking home after a surf for the day. Thanks for peeping todays report. I will be back out there again mañana, as always! C ya then ~
