Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, October 04, 2017

Brian Scott

Hey there everyone, Happy Miércoles and Hump Day! Not much going on at the playa today, besides some wind and rain.

Brian Scott

There was some mixed up wind swell. An occasional corner here and there, but not a single person was out.

Brian Scott

So much for the bet I had going with myself that I was going to try and keep until the new year; which was try and have at least 1 person surfing throughout our entire slow season.

Brian Scott

Maybe I jinxed it? But I dont blame anyone for not wanting to surf with some flaoting logs in the linup.

Brian Scott

All this rain is making it’s way to the ocean, and with it comes all the debris.

Brian Scott

Anyone wanna go for surf today?

Brian Scott

The Nicaraguans work rain or shine, even the Vaca’s love this weather to work in; since it’s so cool with all the lluvia (rain) we’ve been getting.

Brian Scott

Carlitos always rocking that smile! The slow season isn’t gonna bring this happy dude down one bit!

Brian Scott

Still a lot of homes are in the beginning and middle stages of being completed. Too bad because this is going to be our wettest season in about 4 or 5 years. Like the old saying goes, when it rains, it pours.

Brian Scott

The greenery is nuclear right now! So much lush vegetation everywhere. I hope it stays like this for a while and into the dry season.

Stop by the new NSR shop if you’re in town. Definitely a good place to come chill out and keep dry while checking out all the merchandise.

Thanks for popping in to check out the surf report today. Check back in tomorrow to see how things are looking over in Baldo’s neck of the woods! Saludos ~
