Even when the waves are bad (which rarely happens) there is still plenty to do in Nicaragua. You can try horseback riding, hit up the canopy tour, hike through the jungle, check out the volcanoes, wreck havoc in your rental car, or just chill on the beach with a cold cerveza and wait for more waves! The wet season allows for some killer scenery.
