Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, July 20, 2005

We've got rainy and stormy conditions today, but it cleared up just in time for the evening session at Maderas. The good news is that even through all the storms, the wind remained offshore. We've got a building wind swell and Maderas likes that. Check it out.

The Arena Caliente boys were out in full force today. Here is Byron, the elder statesman and one of the owners of San Juan's oldest surf shop.

If you see a little short guy running around San Juan and he won't stop moving or talking, chances are it Ariel the "Mosco", which means "Fly" in Spanish.

This is Agusto, younger brother of Luis, but also a very talented surfer.

We are breaking the rules again and putting up a picture of a boogie boarder. Here is Brent from Orlando, in his safe place.

And finally, Greg was out catching some waves on the Panga! More swell is forecast for the next several days so stay tuned...
