Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, June 01, 2022

Brian Scott

Welcome friends to the new month of June! Like clockwork and as expected, our dearly beloved favorite wave of the Emerald Coast turned onshore and will be like this (so the forecast says) for about the next 9 or 10 days (if you’re counting today as the first day), which it literally is! Get ready to be blown away with todays onshore surf pics!

Brian Scott

It was a good little downpour early this morning, then it was drizzle and stop and then drizzle and then stop. This was the window where I figured I’d go down, but really wasn’t expecting anyone to be out surfing. But I do like how chill and tranquilo this dude it taking a little midday siesta from his hard labor work.

Brian Scott

Oh so glassy, well, sorta if you look at that one little section. But naaahhh it’’s gonna be victory at sea for a little while, so get out your best book, or if you’re not old school, select a good Kindle digital book to read, or maybe start up a good Netflix series, cause I don’t think the surf is going be very good for a semana y algo de cambio.

Brian Scott

Ahhhhhh-haaaa! Wow, was I lucky to see one lone surfer out, way down the beach! This will be a first on the first as we watch this unknown dude take off on his 1st wave.

Brian Scott

Yeah buddy, paddling good and hard to get into the onshore burger!

Brian Scott

Couple little pumps and he actually was generating a decent amount of some pretty good speed.

Brian Scott

Building it up with a nice little bottom turn…..

Brian Scott

Going for it….

Brian Scott

And SsshwaK!!!! not a bad little wave.

Brian Scott

And that was it hahaha, One and Done!

Brian Scott

I told you it would be a first, and hopefully my last.

Brian Scott

Never had a one and done sequence for a report. I’ve had worse, with nobody out at all, so we can give today 2 stars! LOL

Brian Scott

But all this rains is sure brining all that lush greenery back to LIFE!!!! Gorgeous eh!!!

Brian Scott

Yup, we’re gonna have to get used to things being a little off, like this mind bending looking fallen tree, or is it standing erect and we’re a bit skewed?? . . . either way you wanna look at it, things will be sideways, backwards, anything but offshore for the next little bit, so sit tight and things will be back to normal before you know it!
