Nicaragua Surf Report for Friday, May 20, 2005

Hurricane Adrian is gone, but it's effects are still lingering. We've got some overhead swell running, but we've also got stormy conditions (again). The river in San Juan broke through and dumped tons of junk into the bay. Chocolate barrels.

Some of the boats lost their anchors and got washed ashore. This is our neighbor Fidel's boat. Luckily, they got to it in time before it sank. Check out all the boats in the background on the beach.

Of course, we couldn't just sit in the house all day and do nothing. We went out in search of some cleaner water and a ridable wave. Hey, it's better than nothing.
