Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, May 07, 2007

Welcome to the NSR for today. We've got something a little different for you all in the surf report. Jairo "Come Pan" and Carlo Caliente were testing out the new water equipment and came up with some experimental photos. The surf was about shoulder high, the wind was offshore and the water was 85 degrees.

The light was pretty flat which made it difficult to get really good shots, but sometimes it caused an interesting effect. Here is Eu in the glow.

Kirben from Arena Caliente Surf Camp/Shop finding the high line with no fins.

Roque was going really fast on this wave and we thought photo did a good job of showing this.

We were both new at shooting from the water so we did our best to get close enough for the shot but not get clobbered. Here is Carlos tempting fate and Roque with another nice turn off the top.

This was not the best wave of the day, but Manuel gets points for style on this turn.

Looks like we have a couple of days to wait before the surf picks up again. Stay tuned.

After a day off, i am here with the surf report for today. It's chest to head high on sets and the wind is offshore, it is still so fun out there and everybody is feeling it. Check it out.
