Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, April 30, 2008

Welcome to the wednesday surf report from out here at Maderas.  The swell is starting to hit this morning at Maderas and we have many fun waves coming through and the best is that almost nobody was out.  It's head high on sets, the wind is offshore and the water is warm and clear.  Check out the lineup.

We have some fun sets coming in at Machete point too.  Gerardito and Kambute were out there surfing by themself and catching many fun ones.  Here is Gerardito "La Polita" Herrera with a pretty cool shot.  Nice background, isn't it?

Rex "La Bestia" Calderon was killing it out there this morning.  He was doing every kind of sick maneuvers showing us why he won the last 2 titles in the las contest at Las Penitas, Leon.  Here he is with a sick floater.

We have perfect weather conditions this morning and everybody was able to do many kind of activities.  Even to do some yoga on the beach.

Did we mention that it was pretty fun?  Check out this wave with an unknown rider on it.  There were plenty waves out there and not many people out.

Here is the interview of the day.  Hi everybody my name is Kirsten Dulmage and i'm from Toronto, Canada.  I've been down here in Nicaragua for a week and i've enjoyed every single day.  My favorite beach is Maderas because there are many fun waves, great people and the sun is very hot like me!!!

Pedro "El Cacaste Florez made it out today with one of his best friend "La Bestia" and was having so much fun.  Here he is smacking the lip.

This is Augusto "La Gaviota"Chamorro with a sweet snap on a nice right with the last shot of the day.  The swell is still building for the next few days so stay tuned with us.
