I’ve been shooting mostly the mornings (or late mornings - based around the higher tides) but today I had to take care of some stuffs so I had no choice other than to shoot in the late afternoon and it was near dead low tide. Josh here, LOVES the draining low tides. This enables him to get super duper shacked and it’s also not a big fan favorite of most of surfers here as it tends to sometimes shut down, but more importantly, it’s really gnarly and dangerous with the water only being a few feet deep if that and when there’s size of consequence, like today. . . you’ve gotta really know what you’re doing out there.
