Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, April 04, 2009

Hi folks, this is Roberto “Lucha Libre” Garcia bringing you all the action for the Saturday surf report.  Today the NSR family headed out to Playa Maderas in the morning to take advantage of the incoming tide and the new swell.  The waves were super fun and the beach was a little bit busy than normal but everything was really mellow out there.  It was over head on sets with offshore winds all day long and the water was super nice and clear.  Check it out!!!

There were many chicks out there in the lineup trying to get some surf and they did.  This is Mariel from Holland taking a nice sizeable right.  She was so stoked to be out with her boyfriend.

This is Sue “La Arrocitos” Lee from China taking a solid over head wave all the way in to the beach.  The girls were charging out there.

Here we have another chick setting up with a cool bottom turn on this right.  She is Lulu from Australia showing us how to do it.

The NSR family was able to make it out today and scored plenty of fun waves all over the place.  This is our very own Pancho Sanchez dropping into a nice left hander expecting to make it through the barrel section on his last day in town.

Our buddy Come Pan had the day off today and decided to take the sponge out one more time.  Check him out taking one of the better set waves of the day.  Hey buddy, are you ready for “La Semana Sangana”?

This is “El Tuzo” Morales high lining with a killer backside style on this peeling left.  He’s been surfing better lately, maybe that’s because he has a new girlfriend.

Carlitos Caliente was doing the best to have fun out there today after a long week of hard work.  Here he is about to attack the lip of this beautiful right. Nice style my friend!!!

It looks like our buddy Randy “El Bambino” didn’t have a good week.  He has broken two boards in the last three days.  Sorry buddy, but that can happens any time you paddle out.  At least you have a souvenir photo on NSR.

Alright folks, that’s all for today.  The waves should be fun for the next days and the winds are supposed to be offshore so be sure to stay tuned with us.

Lucha out!!!
