Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, March 24, 2005

Today is the fist day of the Maderas Semana Santa Torneo de Surf (it's a surf contest). And as you can imagine, the swell has died. It's still about knee to waist high and offshore winds, but the waves are just not coming in. Here is a picture of the boys.

The day was ruled by the smallest competitor of the bunch. This is Rex, he's twelve years old and he surfs better than you (at least on small waves).

Rex again, stoked after learning he posted the highest contest scores of the day. Nice job Chavelo!
