Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, February 14, 2008

Welcome back to another small surf report from out here at Maderas. In the last few days we've gone to the beach early in the morning to catch a couple fun and uncrowd waves. It's running about knee to waist high on sets, the wind is offshore and the water keeps cold.

First at all we want to give a special shoot out to "El Mope's" grandfather. He's more than 70 years old and he still wants to learn how to surf, never is too late to do what you want. You are my boy blue!!!

A couple of longboarders made it out this morning. Here is an unknown rider taking a nice right on "El Cayuco".

"El Tuzo" Morales was ripping all over the place today. Here he is on one of the best left of the day with a sweet spray.

"La Gaviota" Chamorro keeps practicing hard for the upcoming Central American Surf Contest in Panama the next month. By the way WE STILL NEED YOUR HELP to send these guys to represent Nicaragua. Check him out with a nice cut, he's really working hard to get a good score over there.

There were a couple of clean left coming through today. Here is a junior beginner riding the longest one of the day. We call him "Chispero".

Here is Gerardito "La Polita" Herrera smacking the lip on the last shot of the day. Lucha and Come Pan out!!!
