Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, February 04, 2008

Welcome to the Monday surf report from out here at Maderas, we are "Lucha Libre and Come Pan Panic". Today many people paddled out and the locals were taking advantage on the best set waves. We still have some swell in the water, it's running about head high to overhead on sets and the wind is offshore. Check it out.

Young "La Bestia" Calderon was looking younger tham ever, he was surfing pretty good. Here he is with a cool radical maneuver, he's practicing hard to get the championship at the first contest on March.

Carlos Caliente made it out and was having so much fun with the local surfers. Here he is going big with a cool floater on a nice set wave.

"Calibilly" Zapata paddled out today and scored some good maneuvers. Here he is with a nice one in front of the rocks at Machete pt.

"La Baloy" Chamorro was ripping it up all over the place today, he's practicing hard to be the number one again in the next National surf Circuito. Here he is with a cool sequence.

But this time "La Baloy" has to defeat his little brother "La Gaviota" Chamorro. This guy has been doing a good job during the last contest and now he wants to win. Check him out smacking it with so much power.

This is Allan "La Prenda" Moclin Carcamo taking a nice right at Machete pt. Hey buddy, i hope you are ready to charge the next time we have a huge swell in the water.

Alright guys, today was the first day that all the kids made it back to the school, so maybe a couple of the groms will be out for a while. Please check back tomorrow.
