Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, January 18, 2017

Hello everybody! This is Parker and Baldo welcoming you to a fresh edition of the NSR surf report. The waves are fun and mellow so check out the shots!

Fun and mellow is a great way to put it. It’s small so the waves had to trickle all the way to the inside to break. Remember, our full service surf shop rents long boards and foamies.

DJ has the right idea! This is what we call flat but it’s still surfable. No worries, the Tonas are still cold!!

The better of the two room mates, Nacho, also slipped out for a late morning surf. He was visiting home in the States so he has plenty of pizza, pasta, and other delicious Italian foods to burn off.

Both room mates are stylish (and equally cool) but Nacho wins today’s room mate surf off. They’ve been working on the Iguana Surf School so check them out!

Even though it’s the offseason, our short term forecast isn’t looking epic. If you’re coming to down, let’s talk about the activities in development, the Tola area, and throughout the country. Even if the surf is down, there are a plethora of day trips and cool stuff happening!

With these uncharacteristically light winds for this time of year, the beach has been perfect! Everybody is enjoying the sun, breeze, and air temps of 85. Not bad for January weather, huh?

Yeah… We’ve had worse beach days before.

Johnny is spending some time near our community. During the Wisconsin winter, he migrates south to warm weather and surf. Go Pack go!!!!

Well, DJ may not have won the NSR room mate surf off for the day, but he focuses his talent on the other side of the lens. In all seriousness, he's one of the best photographers in our development.

Ok chicos and chicas, there isn’t a ton going on at the beach so Baldo and I are going to wrap it up. We appreciate you checking out today’s shots and we’ll keep you on your toes tomorrow. Hasta en la mañana primos!!
