Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, December 30, 2012

Hey everyone, Brian here, bringing the report to you this windy, Sunday afternoon. Out front today we saw some smaller but fun surf with gusty offshore winds and down the beach, the surf was a little bigger and even windier. Overall, the waves were in the waist to chest high range with a few plus peaks, and not crowded at all. Check it out!

Hold on to your boards today, because it can be dangerous if you let the wind take it out of your hands and are not aware where the board flying.

Had a couple guys out just learning to surf, and having a tough time battling the conditions. Don't give up guys, you'll get there.

With practice comes balance and eventually develop your own style. This guy looks like he's about to take off flapping his arms with the "flying crane style".

Some of the local boys made it out for a minute. Chocoyo working on a little floater.

One of the international surfers squeezing in the green room. Get low buddy!

A couple surfer girls made it out as well. Perfect size for the ladies and the groms today.

This chica seems to be practicing yoga and surfing at the same time.

A lot of families in town this week and some may not be die hard surfers but the beaches here perfect for those daily walks to enjoy the amazing scenery.

Well, that's it for today folks. Hope you got out in the water or down the beach to enjoy Nicaragua's beautiful coast. If not there's still plenty of sunshine left. Hasta manana amigos!
