Nicaragua Surf Report for Friday, December 21, 2018

Brian Scott

Happy TGIF everyone! We have some really fun waves here in southern Nica right now… but it’s not just anywhere. It’s at the most consistent and wave magnet special spot. Take a look at who all scored today!

Brian Scott

You betcha, Carlos de Colorados was one of the lucky few.

Brian Scott

Offshore plumes of white howling sprays of goodness. How’s your paddling game?? It better be on, especially this time of year here.

Brian Scott

Jeison “Two Chain” Garcia, blowing some serious tail out the back of this helpless end section.

Brian Scott

Brian Scott

This is how the lineup looked when I got down to check it first thing. So I jammed back to my house to grab my camera, because it was absolutely firing with epic conditions!!!

Brian Scott

The beautiful thing about this place (especially in the off-season) is the crowds are only as thick as the previous shot. This is exactly how many people were still out, by the time I packed it up and left by the end of my shooting session.

Brian Scott

Chacoyo punts just as good as the rest of the local crew.

Brian Scott

and his rail game is just as mental.

Brian Scott

Grant was the only pail-rider out today. I say this as though I should talk? Grant’s about 2 shades darker than me even though we’re both from E.E.U.U.

Brian Scott

It was petty cool to see about 80% of the local crew as pretty much the only people out today.

Brian Scott

Jenny Cortez was out there holding down as the only chica in the lineup. Go YENNY!!!!

Brian Scott

Marcos has one of the best jobs, tending to one of the homes that sits about 50 yards exactly from where he took off on this wave. Not a bad place to work and take your lunch breaks to surf.

Brian Scott

Offshores that could double as a deodorant commercial on steroids! Jaja

Brian Scott

Scott, when standing tall in a proper barrel gives all of us watching from the beach, a perfect size-O-meter gauge of how the days waves are looking in feet. For December, this is pretty freaking epic!

Brian Scott

Jenny again, also Scott’s lady, knifing one off the takeoff; on the same wave actually, going left instead of right.

Brian Scott

Scott and Jenny, this time sharing a wave together. Ahhhh can you feel the love??? The laughs and smiles say it all. Surf Stoked and happy to be surfing together. How else would you like to spend your day with your guy/gal???

Brian Scott

Armando stylishly taking off on a really nice set wave.

Brian Scott

My mystery barrel surfer of the day goes to this local pitted dude. I’ll give you a hint. He may or may have not been in the previous photo?

Brian Scott

The tide was coming up and so was Carlos. Ok, bad pun, I know. But seriously, the waves were getting better and better as the tide was almost dead high.

Brian Scott

If you don’e believe me, this is Grant taking off on a wilderness looking sick right, as two of the only people left in the water (at this point) watch on from the shoulder.

Brian Scott

Coming out of tubo, more than likely, the next maneuver, it’s a great big world of possibilities whenever Carlos is surfing.

Brian Scott

The peaks were nothing short of incredible today. I promise!

Brian Scott

The inside bowls were just as delightful, and heaving on some.

Brian Scott

For the non-makable ones….. No guts, no glory!!!

Brian Scott

How sick was todays session Marcos??? I think his smiles says it all.

Take a moment to enjoy this amazing CREA video. "Mommy and Me” programming has really taken off. We so appreciate your support for CREA each year. Here is our link to make a year end donation. We cannot tell you how much all these children appreciate your annual support. I guess it’s pretty clear in the video :)

Brian Scott

Last one out and it’s still getting better… What a day of waves!!! Hope you all enjoyed. See ya’ll again tomorrow. PEACE ~
