Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, December 14, 2008

Hi guys this is Jairo “Come Pan” Panic bringing you the action with the Sunday surf report.  Today we went to Maderas before dark to score some fun waves, it was running about waist to chest high on sets, the wind was offshore and the water was super nice.   Check it out.

It was a great day and a lot of people decided to spend the day at the beach and get some sun and surf.  For the first surf shot we have Ashley Blaylock doing her best to enjoy this small but sweet right.

We had a visit from Zamir “El Peluchito” who is a local from up north in Popoyo, he was out there catching some small ones and enjoying the nice day.  Here he his showing us some fins with a cool front side off the lip.

This is one of our good buddies Chris who was able to get wet before dark and grab a couple of fun ones.  Here we caught him taking off on this nice right.

There was some fun shoulder high set waves rolling through to the beach with no takers.  It always seems like the best waves of the day come in with no one on them.

There were quite a few locals out as well.  This is Alverto “El Gallito” Romano getting back to the surf action with a nice front side slash on this left.  Alverto hasn’t been surfing that much lately because he needs to work a lot to support his family, but when he is in the water he gets tons of wave

We want to leave you with this sweet fisheye view of today’s sunset.  Be sure to check back with us tomorrow.  “Come Pan out”!
