Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, November 16, 2023

Josh S

Hi everyone. Welcome to Thursday’s surf action from Colorados. Funnily enough, the wind came onshore around 9:00am this morning, but we got an afternoon glass off after a rain shower.

Even though the tide was starting to fill in, it was so clean even the smaller waves had little barrels.

This shredder ditched the fins and the tail!

Tim making a nice splash for the camera on this oily smooth right.

It was inconsistent down south, but when they came they were good.

Mariana was out training her 360 spins on her bodyboard. I don’t know much about boogeyboarding, but perhaps the super clean and high tide combo make for ideal conditions for this move.

I like this guy’s style on his takeoff, but grabbing the rail and pig-dogging the drop may have been the better line here.

Hey! Did you catch you self-inserting into this tube?

Josh S

Opher styling and sliding across a fun right.

Another surfer wiping off some speed with a quick flowing top-turn. A fair mix of rights and lefts today.

This one was a bit smaller. It would’ve been perfect for a grom!

Josh S

Tim making waves again. His upper body posture looks like he’s ready to throw a touchdown.

Josh S

Mariana getting inverted again. She caught just as many waves as the better surfers did this afternoon. Someone’s gotta represent for the boogeyboarders!

Another day in paradise! It was a strange day since the wind was cleaner in the afternoon than the morning. The wind pattern is looking similar the next few days, but it looks like the swell will hang around too. See y’all tomorrow and have a good one.
