Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, November 13, 2008

Hi everyone, this is Roberto “Lucha Libre” Garcia bringing you the action from Playa Maderas.  The swell dropped down a little bit but there were still some sizeable waves coming through.  The lineup was not crowded so there were tons of fun waves to be had.  It was over head on sets with offshore winds all day long.

Today a bunch of locals made it out the beach and were having so much fun out there.  Here we have Luis “La Bailarina” taking one of the biggest set waves of the day at Machete Pt.  He was freaking out after he saw this picture on the beach.  He said, “This is the best picture of my life”.  By the way he has been surfing for almost a year.

Wayland “El Rolimpin” Dangla checked out the surf report from yesterday so today he took a ride with me to the beach to score some good ones.  Check him out ladies, this little kid is only 17 years old and he likes big waves and big girls.  I am just kidding ladies!!!

Some of the local surfers were ripping it up all over the place.  Here is our good friend “El Tuzo” Morales with a sweet vertical move.  This guy was surfing very well the whole session.

There were not many international surfers out in the lineup but this guy on this picture was taking advantage at Machete Pt and caught a few good ones.  He actually has to make sure to check out NSR Surf Shots because we have a couple shots of him.  Here he is riding a nice one in the dangerous part of the beach.

Rodolfo “Calibilly” Zapata paddled out as well and was making some nice turns.  Here he is giving some work to his fins with a cool snap on this nice looking left.

On the last shot of the day we have “La Gaviota” expanding his wings to stay over this right with a killer floater.  The swell is dropping a bit tomorrow but it should be still pretty fun.  Lucha out!!!
