Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, October 22, 2023

Josh S

Sunday funday provided with some epic tubes today! It’s always satisfying to see and experience Colorados in true form.

Josh S

You have to squint pretty hard to see whose face is just peaking out from behind the curtain, but if you do then you’ll see it’s Carlos Caliente!

Josh S

Rick Ruzzamenti committing down the line despite the wave shutting down. He did it for the shot haha!

Josh S

Dani Cruche with his eyes on the prize up and across the face on this sandbar burner.

Josh S

Bruno knew his fate was sealed here, so he chose to stack on some extra style points with a reverse superman pose :)

Josh S

Dani trained hard this morning. One of the best ways to improve your barrel riding skills is pulling into hollow closeouts. Dungeon challenger!

Josh S

A mysto surfer weaving through this beautiful north bar drainer. Sometimes you’ve gotta take the high line on these racers.

Josh S

No man is infallible haha.

Josh S

Ryan Templeton was on a hot streak this morning as well. His wave selection was on point.

Josh S

Simon sliding under the lip on this clean insider.

Josh S

Carl on another keeper. I think his session was well timed this morning, this was a good window.

Josh S

Ryan on a thick throaty one. The vision from inside these green, thick rights is something else.

Josh S

As surfers, these are the conditions we live for!

Josh S

Rights dominated the lineup today with a considerable amount of West in the swell. This guy tucked into one of the few makable lefts this morning.

Josh S

These are the October days that we pray for! We’ve been very fortunate to have swell and offshore wind together the past few days. Tomorrow looks like it will another day of quality surf, so if you’ve got the time be sure to check back in.
