Good morning and welcome back for the early Sunday surf report. Waves have dipped a little in size today, but we have some moderately bigger swell that is supposed to be building throughout the day.

Tide was just about peaking high when I went down to shoot this AM, so there was a lot of backwash and wonk on the waves.

The crowd was pretty mellow, which meant a lot of unridden waves as well.

I guess since summer is getting close to being over for them school kiddos, that might explain why there are so many groms here. What a way to end your summer though… surfing prefect waves before you have to head back to the books.

Ok happy Sunday folks! Gear up for hopefully another bulky swell coming in later today and throughout tomorrow. Waves on the long range forecast are still looking really good. Plan a late season trip here for August or even better September. Remember schools back in session, so waves will be good and empty soon! Adiós ~
