Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, July 16, 2018

Javier Baldovinos

Hello surfers from around the world, welcome to Monday’s Surf Report from Colorado beach. As you can see, the waves are pretty small, let’s check it out.

Javier Baldovinos

The waves are small but pretty looking. Right around mid-tide the waves were soft and peeling off both ways.

Javier Baldovinos

With not much swell around, the water got very clear which brought the local fishermen out on the rocks looking for some bait or maybe dinner.

Javier Baldovinos

Looks like not only the locals went fishing today… and not just fishing but spearfishing around the rocks.

Javier Baldovinos

This size is perfect for family bonding, time to hang out with the little ones and share the love for the water and the waves with them.

Javier Baldovinos

Check out Duncan riding some fun ones all the way to the beach, way to go buddy!

Javier Baldovinos

These small waves are also great for big longboards, you can catch the waves way earlier.

… and showing some style while riding down the line.

Javier Baldovinos

You can even pose for the camera while zig-zaging through the crowd of only 4 people.

Javier Baldovinos

… and keep riding the same wave all the way to the sand. Cawabunga!

Javier Baldovinos

Who wants to catch a good looking right hander? Don’t let the size bother you.

Javier Baldovinos

Every so often a “big” set showed up getting everybody by surprise.

Javier Baldovinos

Even if they are small, they can still kick you in the butt if you are not ready or fast enough.

Javier Baldovinos

But for some reason, being in the water is not enough for some people… I’m going to leave to your imagination what this guy thinks about today’s waves. Cheers!
