Before getting to the surf report today we'd like to take a moment to honor the memory of Alberto Martinez a citizen of Puerto Rico and recent visitor to Nicaragua. Alberto passed away this weekend while on vacation here in the community. Our sincere condolences go out to his family and friends who are greiving the loss of a good father, husband, son and friend. When tragedy like this strikes we are reminded that life is short, to make the most of it, and most especially take joy and comfort in the strong, supportive relationships we are blessed with.

Surf was shoulder high with some occasionally bigger sets. Winds were breezy offshore and water temps quite warm.

Boat trips usually begin from beyond the break. This panga captain decided to make his pick up from shore and had to negotiate the waves on his wave out.
