I was bummed when I saw that the focal point got highjacked by the foreground wave on this super sick backside barrel of my buddy Colin. I guess it’s sorta “Artsy” cool, eh?

Little did they know way back then that dudes would be “shooting the curl” in some pretty gnarly waves all over the world on soft top surfboards made in China. One popular surfer comes to mind…. think Jamie O’Brien. He pretty much solidified Wave Storms as the go to thrash board in huge closeouts.

I only got to see “The Amigo”, “ El Patron”, Mr Boss Man the first 5 minutes into his first surf since he arrived back in Nica today. Lou-Dog, can’t wait to get some nuggets with you soon!!!
