Nicaragua Surf Report for Friday, April 20, 2012

What's going on pals?  Lucha Libre is here with a quick update for our Friday surf report.  I jumped in a bus today and headed out to one of the best beach breaks in the whole coast of Nicaragua.  The waves got some size, running about chest to over head on the bigger sets, but the winds were messing around.  It looks like this time I got a little late to the action but we were still able to snap a couple of cool shots.  Check it out!!!

Quite a few guys were still in the lineup when I got to the beach and they were doing their best out there.  How about this guy, just seconds away to bust this lip off the back.  There is some action going on there!!!

Even with the onshore winds we had, those guys out there were having a fun time.  Cool backside snap in the inside section!

Mike made it out there and scored a few decent rides.  Check him out dropping into a nice left hander!

We didn't have many rights to be taken today but this guy took advantage on some of the very few we had rolling in.  Nice little nugget, uh!

Carlitos was ripping all over the place, as always.  Sick backside maneuver right in the pocket of this nice sized left hander.

Surfari Charter and NSR Family brought down a couple of new water filters to Santa Marta, neighborhood nearby Hacienda Iguana.  With this filters more than 100 people a day  will get clean water for the next 5 year.  Is that not awesome?

NSR and Surfari Charters are very proud of these people who helped to connect these filters.  They had clean water right away, and now they do not have to be worried about getting sick from the water.

If you want to sent down, or buy one of this filters you can contact Quesitos to [email protected] and she will tell you what to do.  Nice job, SUBU and NSR!!!

We hope to have better winds conditions tomorrow so we can score some sweet ones.  Please stay tuned with us!
