Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, March 16, 2024

Josh S

Hi everyone! Welcome to Saturday evening’s surf report from main peak Pangas and a couple from French Fries. The swell was pretty similar to yesterday and the wind was a little lighter.

Josh S

There were some hollow insiders at French Fries. Kevin Cortez was the only guy hunting in there for the gems.

Josh S

Speaking of Kevin… here he is weaving through a sick insider.

Cesar was surfing leash-less this evening. That was a pretty bold move. It wasn’t huge this evening, but there were still a few sneaker sets lurking out there.

An unknown surfer bringing it around town on rail.

Look out below! Dr. Steve coming in hot.

Good sequence of rotation from another unknown rider. A few of these fellas on the performance boards were doing well to maintain their speed out there.

Dave Brightbard behind the curtain at the inside section of the main peak right. He tucked in and made out quick like a bandit.

Dr. Steve got his revenge and redemption ride!

Nam-i flowing on rail on his signature shark swallow-tail board.

Cesar’s frontside bottom turn is definitely one of his strong points of his surfing.

Josh S

High speed roundhouse! Cesar definitely caught the most this evening. He has a good read on Pangas.

That’s the finest surfing of this evening’s window. Thanks for checking in and Mr. Tony Z will bring you Sunday’s action. I expect the conditions to be similar tomorrow.
