Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, February 24, 2010

Hi and welcome to our daily surf report.  This is the NSR family bringing you a little bit of the action we had on the beach.  Today we went to the beach in the morning trying to catch some waves and beat the strong onshore winds.  The waves were running about knee to waist high on sets and the wind was already on when we got there.  Anyway we took a few pics just to show you how it was.  Check it out!!!

The lineup was busy at all, there were two local surfers out and a few other internationals trying to ride some mushy ones.  This is Jose “El Corage” trying to do some stuff on this wave.  We know it is not easy to run waves like these when it’s that choppy.

A couple guys were just practicing the best way to wax a board.  Here is this guy doing his thing just second away to paddle out.

Sometimes it doesn’t matter how good you wax your board, because you are going to eat sand anyway.  There were some nice wipe outs, even with the mushy waves we had rolling in.

El Tuzo Morales was only surfer that was shredding up out there.  Here he is caught with a cool frontside turn on this right.  The wind is supposed to be back offshore tomorrow so it might be pretty fun.

On the last shot of the day we have Codo, hold on a second that’s not Codo.  That’s a big boy we found on the way back home.  That dude has a serious couple of cacahuates!!!
