Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, December 28, 2009

Hi folks, we’ve got Miguel with the Monday surf report.  Today we drove up a little bit north trying to find some fun waves.  It was running about chest to head high with some occasional over head waves on sets but it was very disorganized.  The wind was howling offshore and back to side shore every once in a while and the water was nice.  Check it out!!!

The lineup was not busy at all, we only had about 4 guys out taking advantage on some of the better waves we had coming in.  This is Olli riding one of the cleaner lefts of the day.

We met a couple of guys on the beach this morning.  Check out Stephen just seconds away from fun with his very long short board.  Actually, that’s one of our rental boards, and it rides pretty well.

Oliver made the trip with us to the beach and was able to do some surf lessons.  Here we have Tisha and his daughter having a blast out there.  They were doing it pretty good on their first day out!

How about Alex riding this nice sized wave on his first day out as well.  Nice job Alex!!!

There were quite a few locals out in the lineup, having a good time.  This is Charias going over the top of this closed out section.

“La Gaviota” Chamorro drove up with his father on law and paddled out to destroy a few waves.  Here he is caught with a sweet round house.

Alright folks, that’s all for today.  We hope to score some fun ones tomorrow so be sure to check us back out.
