Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, December 26, 2018

Javier Baldovinos

Merry Christmas, everyone! I hope you had a great celebration with your family and friends. I'm still trying to recover from all the delicious dinner I had with my family.

When I got to Santana beach the tide was pretty high and just 4 people were surfing but a lot more were just playing on the waves.

Javier Baldovinos

The waves were breaking very close to the sand and not so great.

Javier Baldovinos

None of the usual local suspects were out surfing, they stayed on the sand instead just hanging out.

Javier Baldovinos

Here is one of the 4 surfers that were in the water, trying to pass that small section on that left.

Uri decided to go for a quick surf, at the end, It's always better to be in the ocean instead of staying dry and hot.

Javier Baldovinos

Uri was having trouble finding a good decent wave to ride on, but with patience you can make it happen.

Javier Baldovinos

He got a few quick rights, enough for him to go home, have dinner and dream about the beautiful ocean.

Javier Baldovinos

Waves or not, Santana is a great place to hang out, specially at sunset... you can go for a walk, play in the water, or just sit on a rock and take it all in.
Hasta maƱana!
