Nicaragua Surf Report for Friday, December 24, 2021

Brian Scott

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas Eve to each and everyone of “You”, our dear to our hearts and super dedicated surf report fans! Check out todays super early morning report!

Brian Scott

Weeeeeellllll, at leas I tried!! Jajaja - That being making it all the way to New Years with shooting all of Playa Colorados, but I had no other option today as I had to shoot early so I could jam to Rivas for some super VERY MUCH NEEDED last minute things. (just an FYI, haaaaa don’t go to Rivas on Christmas Eve!!! EVER!!!!) Anyhow, we shall proceed with this mornings beautifully lit Panga Drops!

Brian Scott

That’s right. The beachie wasn’t only about 1 foot, but there wasn’t a single person out. I know Mr. Boogie boarder man…. it was just as hard for me too, to even look down that way as well. LOLOLOL!

Brian Scott

Buuuuuut, at least we’re super blessed AND stoked all at the same time to have this as our backup wave. Bring it on 2022!

Brian Scott

Ohhhhh man, this is pretty much exactly how it felt driving through the streets of Rivas today. Just about every quadra or street I went down felt it was either the wrong way or choice haha! Kinda like looking into that sick right hand barrel! Ooooofffff! Wrong way and wishing could have been on the opposite side or direction of that little nugget!

Brian Scott

The winds were super offshore which showed that its all starting to finally fall into place, as it should by now.

Brian Scott

I have a feeling it’s gonna look like this between tomorrow (since it will be X-mas morning - and only the real diehards will be out New Years day!) and the first day of 2022.

Brian Scott

One of Rancho Santanas beach club shop, surf instructors, team riders and super hard ripper giving me something to be super happy about shooting this beautiful lit morning at the “Drops” Killing it buddy!!!!

Brian Scott

With so many people coming and going right now with all the holidays and a new year right around the corner, I’m sad to see these two leaving…. but the good news is they’ll be back, soon!!!!

Brian Scott

Tola, I snapped this on my way back home today. They’ve really done some pretty creative things with all the parks from here to Managua. However, this sign is especially significant rather special as this is the corridor to aaaaaalllllllll of the amazing waves you see here in this magical part or region of southern Nicaragua. If you’ve been here to surf Colorado’s OR Panga Drops you must pass through this quaint little village which is about 20 min away; and when you get here, you know it… you feel it. You’re in the country and it feels like you’ve taken a time travel machine back about 100 years! Life is GREAT and I hope each and everyone of you have a super blessed Eve of this special day, and be sure to come back tomorrow after all the package mayhem ripping, thrashing and pajama party has been commenced and you’re finally ready to look at the waves of manana ~
