Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, December 24, 2011

What is up party boys?  This is Lucha Libre Garcia with the Nica Christmas report.  We drove a little down south to score some barrels and we did.  It was over head on sets, with nice offshore winds and the water was nice and fresh.  Check out the lineup!!!

Is this a reef? Or Is this a point break? Or maybe a beach break?  Well, It’s the sickest wedge we have down south of our beautiful  country.  Nice wave, isn’t it?

El Codo Lopez, El Botetas, La Aguada, La Baloy Chamorro and El Grillo Cascante made the trip with me, and they all killed it out there.  El Botetas is caught here with a solid barrel.

El Grillo Cascante was charging on his sponge.  Check him out with a sick off the top on this section.

El Codo Lopez was the man today.  He pulled into some of the better waves of the day.  I have to say that we had the lineup all to ourself all day long.  Grabbing the rail and setting up on his backside!

La Baloy Chamorro also pulled into some sweet ones.  Here he is getting shack in this super deep section.

Borrador was willing to make it out there today but he had to work.  Sorry my friend, this is what you missed.  Fernando La Aguada bottom turning one of the many fun ones he had today.

There were some well over head sets rolling but mostly all of them were closing out.  El Grillo going straight on this mini bump.

Since the lineup was not busy, we had lots of jewel coming in by themself.  Wooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

La Baloy pulling into another sick one.  You probably could say it is the same wave, but it is not.  Mostly all the waves looked the same, sick every time they came in.

Codo drove this one for about 7 seconds, not kidding you.  I have a 40 shots sequence of this wave, too many to post.  He had the best Christmas present ever, as you can see!!!

The swell is dropping a little bit tomorrow but it will stick around for the next few days, so stay tuned with us.  Merry Christmas everyone!
