Anytime you see "D. All the above," that answer is correct most of the time. Pacho Sanchez had an epic morning and surfed well so he opted for D (he shot photos last night so that counts).

The peak we surfed was pretty fun this morning; however, some other peaks were looking great too. Spread the crowd out and see what's going on down the beach.

The waves in this area of Nicaragua are unbelieveable. Within 10 miles, you can find world class beach breaks, points, reefs, outer reefs, and a wedge. What more can you ask for???

For those of you who follow NSR regularly, you know we usually try and do something special to help the local community around Christmas time. This year we are proud to support CREA! - The Nicaraguan Education Resource Center. They have been doing excellent work in Limon for the past 5 years and this year they are about to break ground on a brand new facility. This will be a true game-changer for the community and will provide a long term benefit to the community and the people who live here. The land for this project was generously donated last year and they are currently soliciting donations to continue funding the buildout. There is no minimum or maximum - everything helps! By next year, you will be able to come down and visit this facility, participate with the kids and see first hand, the impact CREA! has on our local community. Please help you you can. Here is a little bit about CREA! Nicaragua is paradise, but it's also the second poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. Education levels, especially in rural areas of the country, are alarmingly low. To put it in perspective, the average number of total years of schooling a rural Nicaraguan receives is 4.9 years. Yet despite a poorly equipped education sector, rural communities in Tola are now getting the educational support The Nicaraguan Education Resource Center known in Spanish as CREA, is inspiring Nicaraguans to empower themselves and their communities by providing educational resources. Functioning in the rural communities where NSR is based, CREA is working with children and youth through its three main initiatives:Library Services, Educational Outreach, and Youth Development. Help us give the gift of education this holiday season and join us in supporting CREA!

While we are discussing the holidays, remember NSR closes early at 3pm on Christmas Eve and we are closed for Christmas. Otherwise, and for New Year's Eve and Day, we are open normal hours (9am to 5pm). Also, there will be an epic beach party at Pili's Tiki Bar for NYE. Swing by, or spend the night, for the live music and drinks.
